Alison Cunningham

Alison Cunningham is a strategic human resources consultant and advisor with MultiNexus Corp., a strategic people and project management firm in Ottawa. Alison has experience in grievance handling, mediation, and arbitration, and has negotiated collective agreements for the Halifax Shipyard (Marine Workers Union) and for Levi Strauss & Co. (Canada) Inc. (Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees).

Alison spent seven years advising clients in both the public and private sectors on a variety of human resource issues as a business consultant with KPMG and Deloitte Consulting. Alison is a seasoned trainer with extensive experience designing and delivering corporate training workshops, professional development programs, and classroom-based educational courses, and has taught undergraduate and graduate business students at Saint Mary's University and University of Ottawa. Alison holds a Master's degree in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University.

She is the Program Coordinator of IRC's Industrial Relations program and its Negotiation Skills program, and co-author of a team-building paper in IRC's case study series.
