Andrew Graham
Andrew Graham is Adjunct Professor in Queen’s School of Policy Studies. In addition to teaching, curriculum design, and program delivery at the university and professional executive education levels, Andrew consults, researches, and writes in the area of public management.
Andrew’s work experience covers a range of challenging positions within the federal government, from direct operations to policy and planning as well as corporate functions such as finance, human resources, strategic planning, and capital management. For 14 years he served as Assistant Deputy Minister of the Public Service of Canada. He was Senior Deputy Commission of the Correctional Service of Canada, a large and highly decentralized government organization, and Senior Financial Officer of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
As a leader in the executive community, Andrew served for three years as President of APEX, the professional association of public executives, and is a voting member of the Institute on Governance.
Andrew has a Masters of Arts degree in political economy from the University of Toronto, and is a graduate of the Advance Management Program of the Canadian Centre for Management Development. He also holds a Diploma in Landscape Design and Horticulture from Guelph University, and is a proud graduate of the Orvis School of Fly Fishing. |
