Megan Telford
Megan E. Telford joined Heenan Blaikie after articling with the firm. In 2001, she clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal for the Honourable Mr. Justice Stone and the Honourable Mr. Justice Strayer.
Megan advises on a diverse range of labour relations, employment litigation, and administrative law matters. She is a sessional instructor in the Queen's University Faculty of Law where she teaches employment law. She has been a speaker at many labour and human resources conferences, and is a regular speaker and coach at the Advanced Arbitration Conference.
Megan has published articles on a wide variety of labour, employment, administrative law, and human resource issues. She is also co-author of the administrative law text, Standards of Review of Federal Administrative Tribunals. Outside of the office she is director of Eva's Initiatives, a community group that works to get the homeless and at-risk young people off the streets permanently.
She is a faculty member in Queen's IRC's Labour Arbitration program.
