“The Conductive Organization: Leveraging Knowledge
to Build Capability”

Queen’s University Campus, Kingston ON

Hubert Saint-Onge, one of Canada’s top management gurus, will share his perspective on organizational learning. This lecture is being sponsored by the Queen’s Industrial Relations Centre to mark its 70th anniversary as a management and development research unit.

Saint-Onge, Principal of SaintOnge/Alliance, is a respected thought leader and practitioner in transforming organizations into 21st century knowledge-based enterprises. He has held senior management positions at leading oil and financial services companies over the past 25 years.

Based on his work as Senior VP of Strategic Capabilities at Clarica, Saint-Onge was recently featured as one of five practitioners around the world who have had the most impact on organizations in the book What’s the Big Idea? Creating and Capitalizing on the Best New Management Thinking. During his tenure as CIBC’s VP, Learning Organization and Leadership Development, he created a Leadership Centre —featured in a Fortune article as a prime example accelerated organizational learning.

Saint-Onge holds an Honours BA in Political Science from York University and an MA in Political Science from Carleton University. He is a sought-after speaker, a guest lecturer and visiting scholar at Harvard University, and Executive-in-Residence at the University of Waterloo. His most recent book is The Conductive Organization: Building Beyond Sustainability.
