The IRC Discussion Paper Series makes the results of industrial relations and organization development research
available to the academic and practitioner worlds. These papers are available electronically
free of charge in order to stimulate dialogue among the industrial relations and organization development

The Industrial Relations Centre is interested in receiving papers from academics
and practitioners who are conducting research in issues relating to the world

Notes for Contributors
The Industrial Relations Centre is interested in receiving papers from academics
and practitioners who are conducting research in issues relating to the world
of work, particularly in the area of dispute resolution, teams and change
management.
Discussion papers should be submitted electronically and will be reviewed by
at least two referees. If accepted, the paper will be reproduced on the Centre’s
web site. Authors will retain copyright and are free to use their paper in
other published formats. However, the discussion paper should not be currently
under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Format for Submission
The submitted paper should be in a single document (i.e., do not have
separate files for text, references, tables).
The discussion paper should be typed double-spaced including notes and
references, preferably as a Microsoft Word attachment and using 11pt Times
New Roman font.
The discussion paper should be submitted in a format viewable on the
Internet (Adobe Acrobat PDF is preferred).
Notes and references should be at the end of the article.
Tables, figures and graphs should be numbered, on separate pages and
include a title.
References should conform to general academic standards.
An abstract of approximately 100 words should be included separately.
The author’s name, title, university/organization affiliation,
and address should be included together with telephone/fax numbers and
an email address.
